PDST Wellread National Award
In December 2020, Kishoge Community College was awarded the PDST ‘Wellread National Award,’ deeming us a ‘Wellread school’. A detailed portfolio of work celebrating our schoolwide literacy initiatives was judged by the PDST (Professional Development Service for Teachers) and we are delighted to be commended for our commitment to literacy and the importance of reading. This national award recognises our school community’s dedication to growing a reading culture in our school. We are very proud of all the staff and students who have participated in the many literacy initiatives that have taken place in our school over recent years.
Kishoge CC is committed to the continued development of our students’ literacy skills, something we feel is a vital aspect of their all-round wellbeing. We feel it is essential to continue to grow a culture of reading in our school and to bring our school community closer together through the love of reading.
